Review: Sound On Sound — Saturday Looks Good To Me.

I love Saturday Looks Good To Me, but I’d previously only heard their full–length albums, so this collection of 30 (count ‘em!) assorted b–sides, alternative versions and rarities is pretty sweet. Some tracks are the familiar SLGTM sound, others interestingly work in progress versions of album tracks. And a couple are polished, glitchy electropop like Nervous, which isn’t much like anything on their albums but brilliant nonetheless.
Also brilliant are Redder Records, who not only got this across the Atlantic faster than anything I’ve ever ordered from the US, but also included a bonus compilation disc of their other artists and a little handwritten thank–you note. I like service like that.
