Trying Way Too Hard

Review: be your own PET — be your own PET.
If the lead singer sang more and shouted less, and if they’d all just slow down a tiny little bit, and if they threw away half their songs and worked a bit harder on the better ones that were left, and if it wasn’t so easy to miss one song turning into another because they all sound so samey, I might (might) like be your own PET.
As it is, I quite like most of the one about the Adventure.
I like be your own PET and especially Adventure.
Listening to be your own PET is like standing in a the middle of a group of people and being thrown tennis balls of pure fun at.

I get the tennis balls thing but not the pure fun. The band are probably having fun, I’m getting hit with tennis balls. Just plain old balls.
